On Friday, March 24th, at 10:00 am MST, (Time convertor here!) we will hold an ImmTalks panel discussion about the following questions. We are going to do a different format than usual. Instead of the 10 minute presentation and 20 minute discussion we usually do we will have a panel discussion with questions afterward. We will try to keep the panel to an hour with discussions afterward.

Questions we would like to explore: (Not Necessarily in this order!)
1. Do you believe that virtual reality will play a crucial role in education? Why or why not?
2. How does education need to evolve to retain its value in the world?
3. What must virtual reality provide to be an asset to the educational systems?
4. If virtual reality reduces the need for physical real estate, what should schools do with the surplus properties under their control?
5. Is our world ready for education in virtual environments?
6. How do you think virtual reality will affect the content we need to include in the curriculum?
7. If we build virtual schools, will they be used?
8. What obstacles must be overcome to leverage virtual technologies in education?
9. Will virtual reality create a global campus?
10. Should there be a global campus?
11. What outside/auxiliary services will be needed to make this work? (scripters, animators, instructional designers, marketplaces, etc.)
12. Where do we get these people from?
13. What are the potential benefits of immersive learning for everyone involved (schools, lecturers/teachers, students)?
14. Why should anybody use immersive environments for teaching at all?
